Washroom Sensor Solutions

Washroom sensor products are becoming increasingly popular in all washrooms. They remove the need to touch surfaces where germs and bacteria can populate, save water and offer many financial benefits. In commercial buildings 43% of water usage is from toilet flushing, 27% is from washing and 20% from urinal flushing, so there is plenty of scope to make a real difference when it comes to saving water. We have an extensive range of products that can help reduce the touch points within a washroom and reduce water usage, whether it be in an Commercial, Education or Leisure environment.

Taps

Our Sensor Taps deliver water without touch, perfect for washrooms where hygiene and water economy are key factors. Our SanCeram Deck Mounted Sensor Tap delivers pre-mixed water blended using a standalone TMV3 valve. The water temperature is pre-set to 41 degrees which is the ideal hand washing temperature to ensure maximum user hygiene and prevent scolding, perfect for public areas and schools.

For Healthcare installations, a WRAS approved tap such as our SanCeram Healthcare TMV3 Wall Mounted Sensor Tap is ideal for touch free use, while ensuring that HBN obligations are met.

The average flow rate of a traditional tap is between 4-6 litres per minute, whilst a sensor tap can be as little as 1.5 litres per minute – this difference can accumulate to save a huge amount of water and money over the course of a year. Sensor Taps also offer automatic shut-off, ensuring that water is not wasted. In addition, a Sensor Tap with a pre-set temperature that is kept at a constant, uses less energy than a tap with an adjustable temperature.

Flushes

For WC’s we have a selection of WC Sensor Flushes, including the Wave S3 Intelligent Sensor Flush Plate ideal for high-end commercial and residential installations demanding a premium finish. Many of these solutions can be used with Dual Flush Cisterns enabling a full or reduced flush to save water.

Individual Urinal Sensor Flushes have a sensor that sits neatly above the urinal bowl and only flush the desired urinal. This offers huge water saving benefits compared to traditional urinal flushing systems. Delivering as little as 1 litre of water per flush, the Electroflo Individual Urinal Sensor Kit provides significant water and financial savings compared with traditional petcocks. Automatically flushing each urinal after use, along with a built-in maintenance flush, ensures the highest level of hygiene from the minimum volume of water.

Where multi station urinal flushing is required, the Kinetic Urinal Room Sensor Control can be used which regulates flushing based on actual washroom usage to save up to 80% of water when compared to traditional systems.

Accessories

Damp hands spread 1,000 times more germs than dry hands do, so it is important to thoroughly dry hands after washing. Touch free Hand Dryers such as our Slimline Warm Air Dryer are ideal to help promote maximum user hygiene as well as reduce paper towel usage.
